Why the Truck Cannot Come Through Your Gate
This is the single most common surprise for first-time shippers in Collier County, and it has nothing to do with the carrier being difficult.

A loaded ten-car carrier is longer than most Naples cul-de-sacs are wide at the turnaround. Even where the gate opens, there is frequently nowhere to unload and no way back out without reversing an articulated 80-foot vehicle past parked cars.
Many associations prohibit commercial vehicles outright
Several Collier County communities refuse commercial entry as a standing rule, and a handful restrict early-morning truck activity as well. Your guard is enforcing the association's document, not making a judgment call.
Canopy and pavers
Older Naples streets carry low live-oak and banyan canopy that a 13'6" load will not clear, and decorative paver drives are not engineered for the axle loads of a loaded carrier. Both cause real damage that somebody has to pay for.
The staging point solution
We agree a nearby lot at dispatch — a plaza, church, clubhouse or the community's own front entrance — and the driver walks the vehicle in or out from there. It typically adds ten minutes and removes every one of the problems above.
