The Naples Snowbird Shipping Calendar, Month by Month
Southwest Florida runs on two migrations a year, and carrier pricing follows them almost perfectly.

The quietest month to book a southbound car and the last cheap one. Carriers are still running summer lanes and a Naples delivery is a bonus stop rather than a premium.
October to December
Southbound capacity tightens week by week. Northbound trucks leave Florida half empty, which means the southbound rate carries the whole round trip. Book three to six weeks out and expect the pickup window, not a date.
January and February
The calmest stretch of the season in both directions. If your travel is flexible, this is when a mid-season vehicle swap is cheapest.
March to May
The reverse crunch. April is the single hardest month of the year to get a truck out of Collier County at a sane rate; the same lane can run 20–35% over July. Book in February if April is your month.
June to August
Hurricane season pricing is soft until a named storm is in the Gulf, at which point everything in Florida stops for several days. Build slack into summer moves for exactly that reason.
