Shipping a Pickup Truck From Naples

Carriers sell two things: deck feet and gross weight. A truck consumes an unusual amount of both, which is why cab and bed configuration change the price more than the badge on the tailgate does.

Figures are typical published curb specifications for common trim and drivetrain combinations. Your truck's actual measured height with a lift, tires or a rack is the number a carrier prices against — measure it.
Pricing

What each modification adds

Crew cab / double cab

+$75 to $150

Adds roughly 20 inches of deck length over a regular cab. Deck feet are what a carrier actually sells.

Long bed (8')

+$100 to $200

A crew cab long bed is over 22 feet. On a 10-car trailer it can cost the carrier a whole additional slot.

Mega Cab / SuperCrew with long bed

+$150 to $275

The longest configuration sold. Often has to go on the head or tail position, which limits which trucks can take it.

Lift kit (2–4 inches)

+$100 to $250

Pushes total height past the 7-foot mark, forcing the truck to a bottom-deck slot and displacing two cars above it.

Lift kit (6 inches or more)

+$300 to $600

Frequently exceeds the 13'6" legal load height when decked. Some carriers cannot legally accept it at all.

Oversized tires (35"+)

+$75 to $200

Adds height and width, and can prevent the wheel straps from seating correctly. Often paired with a lift, compounding both.

Dual rear wheels (DRW)

+$100 to $200

Adds width and 400–700 lbs. Weight matters because carriers run against a federal gross limit, not just a car count.

Diesel engine

+$50 to $150

Roughly 700–900 lbs over the gas equivalent on a Super Duty or HD.

Camper shell / bed rack / roof tent

+$100 to $250

Height again, plus a wind and tie-down problem. Removable racks should be removed.

Inoperable truck (rolls, brakes, steers)

+$150 to $350

Winch load. A heavy non-runner is the hardest thing on a trailer to place safely.

Inoperable truck (will not roll or steer)

+$400 to $800

Requires a rollback, wheel-lift or forklift at one or both ends, often as a separate dispatch.

Before you quote

Disclose these four things

Measured height with everything installed. Overall length including any bumper or hitch extension. Whether it runs, and if not, whether it rolls, brakes and steers. And anything removable — a camper shell, roof tent or bed rack — that could come off before pickup and save you a deck slot.

A truck that arrives taller or longer than quoted is the most common load refusal on the Naples lanes. The refusal costs you days; the disclosure costs you a sentence.

We arrange transport with licensed carriers on a seasonal spot market. We do not publish route prices, guarantee exact pickup or delivery dates, or claim offices in cities where we have none. Availability and pricing change with direction, season and equipment.
