Can Someone Else Release or Receive My Vehicle?
Yes — and for snowbirds it is routine. Very few people are standing in both driveways on both days.
Call 239-273-4649How to set it up
- Give the carrier the authorized person's full name and mobile number when you book, not on the day.
- Make sure they have the keys and know where the vehicle is.
- Tell them the vehicle's existing condition so they don't sign off on damage that was already there — or worse, dispute damage that wasn't.
Common Naples arrangements
Property managers and seasonal home-watch services handle this constantly in Naples and generally know the drill. A guardhouse cannot sign for you, and a landscaper or cleaner should not be put in that position without being asked properly.
At the northern end
The same applies in reverse: a neighbor releasing your car in Minneapolis in October needs the keys, the condition context and a phone that is answered.
