Can I Ship Golf Clubs in My Car to Naples?
In Naples this question comes up more than any other personal-items question, for obvious reasons. Clubs are usually fine within a carrier's personal-items policy, but they are also exactly the kind of item you do not want uninsured in a car you cannot see for a week.
Call 239-273-4649The usual answer
A bag or two in the trunk generally falls within what carriers accept. Confirm it before pickup rather than assuming — policies differ, and a driver can decline at the curb.
Coverage reality
Personal property inside the vehicle is typically excluded from the carrier's cargo coverage. A set of clubs worth several thousand dollars is worth thinking about differently from a duffel bag of beach towels.
What experienced Naples snowbirds do
- Ship the everyday clubs, fly with the good set.
- Keep the clubs out of sight in the trunk rather than the back seat.
- Photograph what is in the car before pickup, alongside the exterior condition photos.
