Shipping a Car to Naples in May

May southbound is off-season shipping at off-season prices.

May

What this month actually looks like

Carriers have finished the northbound rush and are looking for freight in both directions; a Naples-bound car in May is easy to place.

Heat becomes a factor for anything being stored — a car left in a closed Naples garage through summer needs a battery tender and correct tire pressure.

Delivery access is at its easiest all year: no season traffic, short gate lines, and flexible windows.

May is the right month to move a car south if it will simply live in Naples until next season.

The other direction

May, the other way

May is the tail of the northbound season — busy in the first week, then loosening quickly.
