Shipping a Car to Naples in January
January is the second southbound wave: households who winter in Naples for the deep-winter months rather than the full season.

The first two weeks of January are busier than most people expect. Carriers that emptied out over the holidays are back on the road, and a backlog of December bookings moves first.
Northern pickup is the harder half of a January move. Snow and ice in Minnesota, Michigan, upstate New York and New England can hold a truck for a day or two, and residential streets are the first places a driver refuses to enter.
Naples itself is at its busiest. Season traffic is fully underway, so deliveries are scheduled early morning or evening around US-41 and Airport-Pulling congestion.
January, the other way
Very few people leave Naples in January, which makes it one of the cheapest northbound months of the year.
