Shipping a Car to Naples in August
August is the last quiet southbound month before the season's machinery starts turning.

Rates are still at summer levels, but bookings for October and November begin in earnest this month.
Peak hurricane season begins mid-August; carriers reroute around storms and a named system in the Gulf can push a Naples delivery by several days.
Anyone who wants a specific October pickup date in the north should be booking it now, not in September.
August, the other way
August northbound is off-season, with storm watching as the only real variable.
