Shipping a Car to Naples in November
November is October's busy sibling with weather added. Volume stays high, and northern winter starts to interfere with pickups in the Upper Midwest and New England.
Call 239-273-4649The Thanksgiving surge
There is a distinct spike in the ten days before Thanksgiving as households try to have vehicles in Naples for the holiday. That week is one of the tightest of the year on southbound capacity.
Weather starts to matter
Early snow in Minnesota, Wisconsin and upstate New York routinely adds a day or two to a loaded run. This is normal and it is why no honest carrier promises an exact delivery date in late November.
If you're booking in November
- Allow more slack than you would in September.
- Have a plan for someone to receive the vehicle if it lands before or after you.
- Confirm gate access in advance — Naples guardhouses are handling heavy carrier traffic in these weeks.
