Classic & Collector Car Transport
Naples runs on collector cars — Cars on Fifth, the Naples Concours, and a few thousand climate-controlled garages between Port Royal and Grey Oaks. Moving those cars is about the details that a general freight broker has no reason to know.
Call 239-273-4649Pre-war and low-clearance loading
Narrow-track pre-war cars, low splitters and long-overhang GT cars need lift-gate equipment rather than ramps. Mechanical brakes, non-synchro gearboxes and vacuum wipers all mean the driver should be maneuvering the car as little as possible, which changes where the truck stages.
Fluids, fuel and battery
Ship with a quarter tank or less, a charged battery, and no active leaks. Carriers can refuse a car dripping onto the vehicle below it — and on a multi-car enclosed load, yours may be on the upper deck.
Documentation before it moves
Photograph the car in daylight from all four corners plus the roof and undertray, with a timestamp, on pickup day. Agreed-value insurance on your own policy plus the carrier's cargo liability is how collectors cover the gap between market and stated value.
