Car Shipping to Orchid Run
What a car carrier actually encounters at Orchid Run: how the entry works, whether a full-size truck can reach the door, and where deliveries realistically happen in season.

Getting a carrier in — or deciding not to
Entry is gated but unmanned. Someone with a code or resident access has to be present, and the gate arm cycle is not built for a 75-foot rig.
- Structured and covered parking rules out carrier entry to those areas.
- Open surface lot at the front is the usual handoff point.
Timing a Orchid Run delivery or pickup
Arriving for the winter
Southbound deliveries into Central Naples cluster from October through mid-December, with the pre-Thanksgiving stretch the tightest. If nobody will be at the residence when the truck arrives, arrange an authorized receiver — a neighbor, property manager or home-watch service — and tell the dispatcher who it is by name.
Traffic on Golden and the surrounding arterials changes materially between December and April. A driver who could make three Naples stops in a morning in September makes two in February.
Leaving in the spring
April is the heaviest northbound month, and communities like Orchid Run see repeated carrier visits in the same weeks. Book in February, offer a three-day window, and start the car about a week before pickup so a flat battery doesn't turn a running vehicle into an inoperable one.
If your household is shipping two vehicles, putting them on one load is easier for everyone — one gate authorization, one arrival, one inspection.
